Al Khusaybi narrated that Fatimah said in her will:
A nation that broke the covenant of Allah and the covenant of my father, the Messenger of Allah, and Amir al Mu’minin, ‘Ali, should not pray upon me. They wronged me, took my inheritance, and burned the document that my father wrote regarding my share of Fadak and the surrounding areas.
Until she said:
Then ‘Umar took the whip from Qunfudh, the freed slave of Abu Bakr, and struck my arm with it, causing the whip to coil around my arm until it became like a bracelet. He kicked the door with his foot, and pushed it upon me while I was pregnant, causing me to fall on my face while the fire was burning, and he slapped my face with his hand until my earring fell from my ear. The labour pains came to me and I miscarried without any sin. Is this the nation that will pray upon me? Allah and His Messenger have disavowed it and I disavow it as well.[1]
This narration has been reported without a chain of narration in the book al Hidayah al Kubra, attributed to al Hussain ibn Hamdan al Khusaybi (who lived in the fourth century). The discussion regarding al Khusaybi and the book al Hidayah attributed to him has already been mentioned and the scholars of the Imamiyyah have criticised it.
Asif Muhsini ruled that the narration is not reliable in his book Mashra’at Bihar al Anwar.[2]
