This verse: And the one who has brought the truth and [they who] believed in it[1] was revealed in favour of ‘Ali

The narration is munkar.

Ibn Mujahid ‘Abdul Wahhab

  • Extremely da’if.

Layth is his tabi’ from Ibn Mujahid.

  • However, Layth himself is da’if as well.
  • He is ibn Abi Sulaim. He was afflicted with ikhtilat (disorientation).

Mansur opposes them and says:

From Mujahid: And the one who has brought the truth and [they who] believed in it those who will bring the Qur’an on the Day of Qiyamah and say: this is what you gave us and we followed what was in it.

Ibn Jarir al Tabari documented it via a sahih isnad.[2]
