Hafiz says:
Dahir ibn Dahir is a malicious rafidi whose concocted reports are never corroborated. Al ‘Uqayli mentioned the hadith of ‘Abdullah ibn Dahir from his father Dahir from the Nabi who allegedly said, “O Umm Salamah! ‘Ali’s flesh is from my flesh …”
Ibn ‘Adi accused him of fabricating this hadith.[1]
