I saw inscribed on the door of Jannat: There is no deity besides Allah; Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah; ‘Ali is the brother of Rasulullah salla Llahu ‘alayhi wa sallam

 

رأيت على باب الجنة مكتوبا لا إله إلا الله محمد رسول الله علي أخو رسول الله

I saw inscribed on the door of Jannat: There is no deity besides Allah; Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah; ‘Ali is the brother of Rasulullah salla Llahu ‘alayhi wa sallam.

 

The narration is mawdu’.

 

Abu Ya’la Hamzah ibn Dawood al Mu’addab

• Al Daraqutni says, “He is worthless.”[1]

 

Sulaiman ibn al Rabi’ al Nahdi al Kufi

• Al Daraqutni and al Dhahabi discarded him.[2]

 

Kadih ibn Rahmat al Zahid Abu Rahmah

• Al Hakim and Ibn ‘Adi attributed lying and fabricating to him.
• Majority of what he narrates is not mahfuz. Moreover, his isnads are not corroborated.

 

Yahya ibn Salim al Kufi

• Al Daraqutni classified him da’i
• He is not Yahya ibn Salim the narrator from Ibn ‘[3]
