Hadith 131: Verily Allah sent revelation to Musa that he should build a pure masjid in which only Musa, Harun, and the two sons of Harun—Shabar and Shubayr—can reside in. And verily Allah ordered me to build a pure masjid in which only my brother ‘Ali, my two (grand) children Hassan and Hussain, and I can reside in.

Hadith 132

Ibn ‘Abbas was asked about Allah’s words, “Allah has promised those who believe and do righteous deeds [that] for them there is forgiveness and great reward.”[1] He said, “A group of people asked the Prophet salla Llahu ‘alayhi wa sallam and said, ‘Concerning who was this verse revealed, O Prophet of Allah?’ He said, ‘On the Day of Resurrection, a standard of white nur (light) will be tied. A caller will suddenly call out: The Sayed (master) of the believers should stand; and along with him all those who believed after the Prophet salla Llahu ‘alayhi wa sallam was sent. ‘Ali ibn Abi Talib will stand and he will be given the standard of white nur (light) in his hand. Underneath the standard will be all of the Sabiqin and Awwalin (first forerunners) from the Muhajirin and the Ansar; no one else will mix with them. Eventually, he will sit on a pulpit (made) from the nur (light) of the Lord of might (Rabb al ‘Izzah). Everyone will appear before him, one by one. Each will be given their reward and nur (light). When he comes to the last of them, it will be said to them, ‘You know your positions and places in Jannat; verily your Lord says: I have with me forgiveness and a great reward, i.e. Jannat.’ ‘Ali will stand while the people will be underneath his standard until he enters Jannat with them. Thereafter, he will return to this pulpit; all of the believers will continue presenting themselves to him, while he takes his share from them to Jannat. He will place a group of people in the Fire (of Jahannam). This is in reference to (the verse) ‘And those who have believed in Allah and His messengers – those are [in the ranks of] the supporters of truth and the martyrs, with their Lord. For them is their reward and their light’[2] i.e. the first forerunners from the believers and the people of wilayah. ‘But those who have disbelieved and denied Our verses – those are the companions of Hellfire’[3] i.e. disbelieve and deny the wilayah of ‘Ali; and the right of ‘Ali is compulsory on the worlds.”

Ibn al Maghazili narrates this hadith — al Hassan ibn Ahmed ibn Musa informed us — Hilal ibn Muhammad narrated to us — Ismail ibn ‘Ali ibn ‘Ali ibn Razin ibn ‘Uthman narrated to us — my father narrated to us — my brother Da’bal ibn ‘Ali narrated to us — Mujashi’ narrated to us — from ‘Umar ibn Maysarah ibn ‘Abdul Karim al Jazari — from Sa’id ibn Jubayr — from Ibn ‘Abbas…[4]

This hadith is batil (false) and mawdu’ (fabricated).

The aforementioned Ismail is suspected of fabricating hadith.

I think Mujashi’ is Ibn ‘Amr, the kadhdhab (liar).[5]

His teacher could not be traced.
