أتاني جبريل عليه السلام فقال: تختموا بالعقيق، فإنه أول حجر شهد لله بالوحدانية، ولي بالنبوة، ولعلي بالوصية، ولولده بالإمامة، ولشيعته بالجنة.
Jibril ‘alayh al Salam came to me and said, “Wear rings with aqiq (quartz), for it was the first stone to testify to Allah’s oneness, my Prophethood, the wilayah of ‘Ali, the imamah (leadership) of his son, and (it testified) to the fact that his Shia (Followers) will enter Jannat.”
Ibn al Maghazili narrates — al Qadi Abu Tamam ‘Ali ibn Muhammad ibn al Hussain informed us — al Qadi Abu al Faraj Ahmed ibn ‘Ali ibn Jafar ibn al Mu’alla al Khuyuti informed us idhnan (he authorized us to transmit this hadith) — Abu al Tayyib Muhammad ibn Hubaysh ibn ‘Abdullah ibn Harun al Nili narrated to me in al Tiraz in Wasit in the year 331 — al Musharraf ibn Sa’id al Dhari’ informed us — Ibrahim ibn al Mundhir al Hizami narrated to us — Sufyan ibn Hamzah al Aslami narrated to us — from Kathir ibn Zaid who said, “Al A’mash entered the presence of al Mansur. Al Mansur was seated at that time listening to the grievances/injustices/complaints (mazalim) of the people. When he noticed him, he said to him, ‘O Sulaiman, come to the front!’ He said, “I will sit where you are seated.” Then he said, “Al Sadiq narrated to me — al Baqir narrated to me — al Sajjad narrated to me — al Shahid narrated to me — al Taqi narrated to me—he is the wasi (advisor) ‘Ali ibn Abi Talib—and said, ‘The Prophet salla Llahu ‘alayhi wa sallam narrated to me…’” and then he went on and mentioned the hadith. Then he said, “The people turned their heads towards him.” It was said to him, “You mentioned a people who we do not know.” He said, “Al Sadiq is Jafar ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Ali ibn al Hussain ibn ‘Ali ibn Abi Talib. Al Baqir is Muhammad ibn ‘Ali ibn al Hussain ibn ‘Ali ibn Abi Talib. Al Sajjad is ‘Ali ibn al Hussain ibn ‘Ali ibn Abi Talib. Al Shahid is al Hussain ibn ‘Ali. Al Wasi is al Taqi ‘Ali ibn Abi Talib.’”[1]
This hadith is evidently fabricated; it is a lie attributed to the Messenger of Allah salla Llahu ‘alayhi wa sallam.
Ibn al Maghazili is da’if (weak).
Al Nili could not be traced, perhaps he is the problem of the hadith.
I could not trace al Musharraf ibn Sa’id al Dhari’. And Allah knows best.
