Shattering the Mirage: A Response to ‘Abdul Hussain Sharaf al Din’s al Muraja’at: Letter 95 and 96
May 20, 2025Introduction
June 24, 2025The Ahl al-Sunnah are unanimous that after the prophets, the greatest human is undoubtedly Abū Bakr al-Ṣiddīq, and then ʿUmar radiya Llahu ‘anhuma. There are, however, some unfortunate souls who claim to be lovers and followers of the Ahl al-Bayt, yet oppose the Muslim Ummah and noble family of the Prophet salla Llahu `alayhi wa sallam by claiming contrary to this. They not only give preference to ʿAlī radiya Llahu ‘anhu, but exceed the limits and also slander Abū Bakr and ʿUmar radiya Llahu ‘anhuma. They do so utilising a deceitful ploy, claiming that the superiority of Abū Bakr is not proven from definitive evidences; thus, misleading the commonality.
The author, through definitive and conclusive evidences from the Qur’ān, Sunnah, and Ijmāʿ (consensus), proves that there is no doubt regarding the superiority of Abū Bakr and ʿUmar radiya Llahu ‘anhuma. This book is a hammering blow to those who are enemies of Abū Bakr, ʿUmar, the rest of the Companions radiya Llahu ‘anhum, and the Muslim Ummah. It leaves the reader with complete conviction that the doctrine of the Ahl al-Sunnah regarding the superiority of Abū Bakr and ʿUmar radiya Llahu ‘anhuma is both correct and authentically established by overwhelming evidence.
