Hafiz says, “Dahir ibn Dahir is a Rafidi with rancour. His calamities are not corroborated. Al ‘Uqayli mentioned it from the hadith of ‘Abdullah ibn Dahir from his father Dahir from the Nabi salla Llahu ‘alayhi wa sallam. Ibn ‘Adi accused him of forging this narration.[1]
