The Rawafid take offense at this narration and claim that al Dhahabi and Ibn ‘Asakir narrated it, but they conveniently pay no attention to their tad’if of the narration.

Mulla ‘Ali Qari has listed it among the false narrations.[1]

Al Dhahabi remarks, “Ibn ‘Asakir says: al Ahwazi is accused for it. Abu Bakr al Khatib told us, ‘‘Ali al Ahwazi is a kadhab.’”[2]

Just marvel the falsehood of the Rawafid!
