Hadith 63

The Messenger of Allah salla Llahu ‘alayhi wa sallam came to us; his right (hand) was in the hand of Abu Bakr, his left (hand) was in the hand of ‘Umar, ‘Ali was holding the edge of his garment and ‘Uthman (was also holding it) from the back. He salla Llahu ‘alayhi wa sallam said, “Like this, by the Lord of the Ka’bah, we will enter Jannat.”

Ibn ‘Adi and others narrate — from ‘Abdullah ibn Khirash — from al ‘Awwam ibn Hawshab — from Shahr ibn Hawshab — from Muaz ibn Jabal.[1]

Ibn al Jawzi says this hadith is inauthentic.[2]

‘Abdullah ibn Khirash ibn Hurayth al Shaybani is suspected of fabricating hadith.

Muhammad ibn ‘Ali ibn Rawh al Muʾaddib still needs to be investigated.

Shahr has been criticized.
