خلافة النبوة ثلاثون عاما ثم يؤتي الله الملك من يشاء فقال معاوية رضينا بالملك

Caliphate of nubuwwah will last for thirty years. Thereafter, Allah will grant kingdom to whom He wishes.

Muawiyah commented, “We are pleased with kingdom.”

 

The sanad is da’if due to the presence of ‘Ali ibn Zaid.

  • Hafiz Ibn Hajar graded him da’if.[1]
  • Al Nasa’i classified him da’if.
  • Imam Ahmed said, “He is worthless.”[2]

Besides, the hadith itself is reported from other sahih chains without the addition of Sayyidina Muawiyah’s radiya Llahu ‘anhu comment.
