You must have read in the Noble Qu’ran that Nabi Adam ‘alayh al Salam was removed from Jannat because he was fooled by Iblis into eating from the forbidden tree, refer to Surah al Baqarah, but the Shia have a different belief altogether. They believe that Adam ‘alayh al Salam was removed from Jannat because of him being jealous of the Imams, despite being prohibited to do so. Everything in the Shia religion revolves around the Imams.
One can read through the entire Qu’ran and he will not find this incident mentioned anywhere. One may even study the entire treasury of hadith and still he will not be able to find this incident reported in any book. So what is the source of this fairy tale? They are unable to provide any reply except that it truly is not present in the Qu’ran or hadith but to invent narrations is praise and glorification of the Imams is a meritorious act. This is a lie but a praiseworthy lie. The Jews and Christians of the previous Ummah also did the same, and we have not done anything new.
It is the belief of the Muslims that none can surpass the rank of the Prophets ‘alayh al Salam. No siddiq, no martyr, no saint nor any imam can be greater in status than the Prophets ‘alayh al Salam but you will be left astounded by the doctrine of the Shia when you discover that according to them the status of every Shia is equal to the Prophets.
Ponder over the following narration reported by the Shia:
Nabi Ibrahim ‘alayh al Salam asked Allah Ta’ala: “O Allah make me from amongst the Shia of ‘Ali radiya Llahu ‘anhu.” His supplication was accepted and he was included amongst the Shia of ‘Ali radiya Llahu ‘anhu.
Allah is indeed Pure! This is the status of the Shia of Sayyidina ‘Ali radiya Llahu ‘anhu, that they equate themselves to Nabi Ibrahim ‘alayh al Salam– the khalil (friend) of Allah.
As far as their belief regarding Sayyidina ‘Ali radiya Llahu ‘anhu goes, they believe him to be superior then all of the Prophets together. Allah forbid! Why do they have this belief? Because they believe Sayyidina ‘Ali radiya Llahu ‘anhu is Allah. They might not profess it with their tongue but every Shia, deep down is a true Christian. Just look at their beliefs regarding the Prophets ‘alayh al Salam?
The Christians did not understand the true status of the Prophets ‘alayh al Salam and have accused many of the Prophets of committing major sins. Whereas the Prophets were sent for the reformation of mankind. They are pure and the sterling examples of noble character. They are not examples of those who instruct others to do good when they themselves are engulfed in evil. Their status surpasses that of the entire creation but the creators of the Shia religion have left no stone unturned in trying to degrade these noble personalities. Their purpose for doing this is only so that they can elevate Sayyidina ‘Ali radiya Llahu ‘anhu above all of the Prophets and in doing so raise him to the rank of Allah Ta’ala. They have achieved this and every single sect of the Shia accepts him as their Rabb. The soul of Ibn Saba’ chants out the slogans of victory.
The Shia do not believe that Rasulullah salla Llahu ‘alayhi wa sallam was the seal of nubuwwah. The reason for this is that they believe the Imams who came after Rasulullah salla Llahu ‘alayhi wa sallam to have the same rank as he had. wahi (revelation) descends upon the Imams, it is compulsory to obey them just as it was compulsory to obey Rasulullah salla Llahu ‘alayhi wa sallam and they have the choice to declare things as halal and haram. The Qu’ran which was revealed to Rasulullah salla Llahu ‘alayhi wa sallam went missing and this is why the Shia had to find other books to refer to. You must of been under the impression all this time that the wahi which used to descend upon Rasulullah salla Llahu ‘alayhi wa sallam through Jibril ‘alayh al Salam has ended, as he was the seal of nubuwwah and after him there is no other nabi but this is the true belief of the Shia.
1) After the demise of Rasulullah salla Llahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, Jibril ‘alayh al Salam descended and handed the Mushaf al–Fatimi to Sayyidah Fatimah radiya Llahu ‘anha. This Mushaf was entirely different from the present Qu’ran and its greatest characteristic is that it did not contain even a single letter of the present Qu’ran.
So what does this Mushaf contain then? They reply is that it contained the names of all the kings who would rule until the Day of Qiyamah as well as their life stories. This means that it contains nothing related to din. Is it possible to believe that Allah Ta’ala felt the need to reveal a complete book of history for mankind?
2) The fairy-tales do not end here. They claim that another book was revealed. The Mushaf ‘Ali, which was one voluminous book, as thick as the thigh of a camel.
What does this book comprise of? Laws and injunctions which oppose the Muslims. What an important book indeed!
3) Jafra Bidh – This is a vast encyclopaedia, which contains all the knowledge of the Prophets, saints and ‘ulama of the Banu Isra’il.
4) An important register, which contains the names of all the Shia who will be born until the Day of Qiyamah, as well as the names of their enemies who will be born until the Day of Qiyamah. It is difficult to even find a place to store such a huge register, let alone receive it.
5) Besides these books, every year on the night of Qadr, a book is revealed to the imam of the hour, which contains the laws that are to be passed for that year. In this book, Allah decrees which beliefs are to be maintained and which are to be abrogated. The book of each year abrogates that of the previous year. This too must be a very voluminous book indeed.
The entire story of the ‘Real Qu’ran’ being with the ‘Absent Imam’ is a fairy tale. Neither will the ‘Absent Imam’ ever come nor will the Shia ever see this ‘Real Qu’ran’. They believe that the present Qu’ran has been altered, thus the need arose to have a book from which they could derive their beliefs and that too needed to be newly revealed.
They believe that changing the fundamental beliefs of din is also the choice of the imam. This year wine will be haram and the next year it will be halal but Muta and Taqiyyah will always remain halal.
What we wish to know is that who has possession of those books that were revealed after Imam Hassan al ‘Askari and in which library is it being kept? There are many of us who would like to view these books. We have complete conviction that neither will your ‘Real Qu’ran’ or any of these other books ever be seen until the Day of Qiyamah.
This too they believe the ‘Absent Imam’ has in his possession. According to them he was only four or six years old when he feared being killed and took refuge in the cave. So did he take the ‘Real Qu’ran’ and all these other books, the weight of which could not be carried by a number of camels, with him when he fled. Allah is indeed Pure!
You have created a fairy-tale for yourselves! Lies and deceit! Do you honestly believe that having the following belief regarding Rasulullah salla Llahu ‘alayhi wa sallam is respectful? That when Imam al Mahdi arrives then the first person who will pledge his allegiance to him will be Rasulullah salla Llahu ‘alayhi wa sallam. Refer to Haqq al Yaqin page 167.
You will remember that the first belief that ‘Abdullah ibn Saba’ propagated was that Rasulullah salla Llahu ‘alayhi wa sallam will also once again return to this world in a similar manner as ‘Isa ‘alayh al Salam. It was only much later that the purpose of this belief was revealed.
Ponder for a moment, a nabi and that too the best and most elevated of all the Prophets will pledge his allegiance to an imam. See the extent to which they have elevated the level of their Imams and reduced the status of the Prophets. This was the belief that they hold regarding Rasulullah salla Llahu ‘alayhi wa sallam.
They go on to state that Rasulullah salla Llahu ‘alayhi wa sallam failed to fulfil the obligations of nubuwwah and out of fear for the Sahabah did not fully impart the message to the people. Allah Forbid! This is an outright assault on the personality of that very Nabi salla Llahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, in whose heart Allah Ta’ala had engraved that he will fear only Allah and no other. They claim that Rasulullah salla Llahu ‘alayhi wa sallam was instructed by Allah during the Hajj al Wida to announce the khilafah of Sayyidina ‘Ali salla Llahu ‘alayhi wa sallam but Rasulullah salla Llahu ‘alayhi wa sallam put off announcing it with the excuse that his people had just embraced Islam and if he announced the succession in the name of his brother, they would turn away from din. Allah Ta’ala then admonished Rasulullah salla Llahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, that if he does not fulfil this then he will be abandoning the duties of risalat. Still Rasulullah salla Llahu ‘alayhi wa sallam delayed in announcing it until Allah promised to protect him. Rasulullah salla Llahu ‘alayhi wa sallam then announced it but then too in an ambiguous manner. Rasulullah salla Llahu ‘alayhi wa sallam concealed many verses from the Sahabah out of his fear for them, which remain concealed to this very day. (Refer to Imad al Islam by Dildar ‘Ali). O Shia! What can be said about your deception, “Concealed many verses from the Sahabah out of his fear of them, which remain concealed to this very day.” Please inform us how you came to know of this? This is outright slander and a lie against Rasulullah salla Llahu ‘alayhi wa sallam. Can there be any allegation more atrocious than this? This is an insult to the noble rank of Rasulullah salla Llahu ‘alayhi wa sallam. Allah forbid! Is it possible to say that Rasulullah salla Llahu ‘alayhi wa sallam intentionally neglected his duties of risalat? That Rasulullah salla Llahu ‘alayhi wa sallam intentionally disobeyed Allah Ta’ala, delayed in fulfilling His orders and concealed many verses of the Qu’ran? This would mean, Allah forbid, that Rasulullah salla Llahu ‘alayhi wa sallam was not fit for the position of a nabi and that Allah erred in his selection. There can be no greater disrespect for Allah and His Rasul than this. Yet they claim he concealed it to such an extent that none are aware of it to this day and nor is it possible to acquire.
You have already read the belief of the Shia with regards to Allah Ta’ala and now you have discovered what their beliefs are regarding Rasulullah salla Llahu ‘alayhi wa sallam.
Allah Ta’ala praises the blessed wives of Rasulullah salla Llahu ‘alayhi wa sallam in the Noble Qu’ran but the Shia bear such enmity for Sayyidah ‘Aisha radiya Llahu ‘anha and Sayyidah Hafsah radiya Llahu ‘anha that they absolve themselves from them, whereas they were beloved to Rasulullah salla Llahu ‘alayhi wa sallam. This sect has absolutely no love for Rasulullah salla Llahu ‘alayhi wa sallam and do not even think twice of causing pain to the heart of Rasulullah salla Llahu ‘alayhi wa sallam yet they still insist on calling themselves Mu’min. Allah Ta’ala defines the meaning of a Mu’min in the Qu’ran in the following manner:
اَلنَّبِیُّ اَوْلٰی بِالْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ مِنْ اَنْفُسِہِمْ وَ اَزْوَاجُہٗۤ اُمَّہٰتُہُمْ
The Nabi salla Llahu ‘alayhi wa sallam has a greater relationship (of love) with the Mu’minin than even their own selves, and his wives are their mothers.[1]
