Nawab Muhsin al Dowlah Muhsin al Mulk Munir Nawaz Jang Sayed Mahdi ‘Ali ibn Sayed Damin ‘Ali al Hussaini (1253 A.H – 1325 A.H) hails from an ancestry of celebrated and prominent graduates, intellectuals and modern scholars of India of this age. Owing to his extensive study, sound nature and deep contemplation he accepted the creed of the Ahlus Sunnah. On the invitation of Nawab Mukhtar al Mulk he went to Hyderabad in 1291 A.H and sat on high platforms and made far-reaching reformations thereby attesting to his intelligence and organizational skills. He travelled to England in 1305 A.H and saw the universities there and remained a supportive hand in the life of Sir Sayed. In 1315 A.H (1897), he was elected as the secretary of Madrasat al ‘Ulum Aligarh (M.A.O College) and Muhammadan Educational Conference and remained in this position till the end of his life. The college progressed exceptionally in every field during his time.
Nawab Muhsin al Mulk has an awe-inspiring overpowering personality. He has the articulacy to lecture the entire night and is a proficient writer. His book Ayat-e Bayyinat is a tour de force in its field.
What Nawab Muhsin al Mulk (Molana Sayed Muhammad Mahdi ‘Ali) has written in Ayat-e Bayyinat of his eye witness observations of the Shia sect’s beliefs and attitude towards the noble Sahabah radiya Llahu ‘anhum will have a remarkable effect on a person with sound disposition. To add on to it or to superbly debunk this marvellous work on both an emotional and intellectual level is next to impossible.

وَلَقَدْ اَنْزَلْنَآ اِلَیْکَ اٰیٰتٍۢ بَیِّنٰتٍۚ وَمَا یَكْفُرُ بِهَآ اِلَّا الْفٰسِقُوْنَ
And We have certainly revealed to you verses [which are] clear proofs, and no one would deny them except the defiantly disobedient.[1]
