Hassan and Hussain and Imams, whether they stand up or sit down

الحسن و الحسين إمامان قاما أو قعدا

Hassan and Hussain and Imams, whether they stand up (to claim their right) or sit down (i.e. do not claim their right).

The isnad is as follows:

حدثنا علي بن أحمد بن محمد رحمه الله قال حدثنا محمد بن موسى بن داود الدقاق قال حدثنا الحسن بن أحمد بن الليث قال حدثنا محمد بن حميد قال حدثنا يحيى بن أبي بكير قال حدثنا أبو العلا الخفاف عن أبي سعيد عقيص … و ذكر الحديث

‘Ali ibn Ahmed ibn Muhammad rahimahu Llah narrated to us saying―Muhammad ibn Musa ibn Dawood al Daqqaq narrated to us saying―Hassan ibn Ahmed ibn al Layth narrated to us saying―Muhammad ibn Humaid narrated to us saying―Yahya ibn Abi Bukayr narrated to us saying―Abu al ‘Ala al Khaffaf narrated to us from―Abu Sa’id ‘Aqis … He then related the hadith.

The Rawafid frequently quote this narration. It has absolutely no basis according to us and no existence in any of the hadith compilations.

Khalid ibn Tahman Abu al ‘Ala al Khaffaf al Kufi

He is Khalid ibn Abi Khalid more commonly known by his agnomen: Abu al ‘Ala al Khaffaf. He is truthful but is accused of Shi’ And then became unstable.^[2]

Abu Sa’id ‘Aqis

Al Nasa’i says, “He is not qawi (strong).”
Al Daraqutni classified him as matruk (suspected of forgery).
Al Sa’di remarked, “”
Al Bukhari comments, “They criticised him.”
Ibn ‘Adi states, “No narration of his regarding the Sahabah is reliable. He only narrates tales. He is a Kufi from their Shia crowd.”
Yahya ibn Ma’in stated, “He is worthless.”^[3]
