Conclusion

After completing our flight around the ahadith on the Ten Promised Jannah, it becomes manifest to us that these ten blessed individuals had few things in common:

  • They are from the early forerunners.
  • They are from the participants of Badr.
  • They were present at Bay’at al Ridwan.
  • They were among the great warriors.
  • They had the noblest character among the Sahabah.

Similarly, it has become apparent, leaving no scope of doubt, that these noble personalities have left behind a rich legacy which the Muslims can rightfully be proud of. With the help of their constructive forearms alongside their Nabi salla Llahu ‘alayhi wa sallam and along with their brethren of the noble Sahabah radiya Llahu ‘anhum, they firmly established the lofty edifice of din. They traversed with him the deserts, the desolate regions, the soft sands, the coasts, and the rough seas until they conveyed it to their successors in its pristine form, without any alteration or weakness, without deficiency or imperfection. Thus, they were deserving of being awarded the glad tidings of Jannah from the Grand, the Most Forgiving, via revelation to the Leader of the Pious salla Llahu ‘alayhi wa sallam.

The object of this discussion of ours is only to revive their fragrant history and noble legacy in the hearts of the Muslims and to remind everyone of their achievements and the great sacrifices they rendered in the path of this din, so that their status does not diminish and their rank is not lowered. So that we may present our excuse to Allah subhanahu wa ta ‘ala and not leave the plain empty for some foreign smell and disastrous owls, who scream day and night, intending evil towards the Sahabah of the chosen Nabi salla Llahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, forgetting that by this they are closing the gap between them and falling into the abyss of Hell.

Behold! Allow us to announce it clearly with echo, without obscurity or doubt, with no ambiguity or show! A nation that does not respect the Companions of their Nabi salla Llahu ‘alayhi wa sallam as they ought to be respected is a nation at the lowest ebb of disgrace and in the dumps of history. Such a nation will never obtain distinction, they will never be deserving of pleasant outcomes, and their status will never be elevated.

A nation that despises the Companions of their Nabi salla Llahu ‘alayhi wa sallam—the diggers of its foundation, the builders of its palaces, and the elevators of its buildings—have no future. When it is famous in Ichthyology that the tail of the fish is what motions the body forward then in the world of Muslims, there is no goodness in a movement determined on treating the blessed Sahabah radiya Llahu ‘anhum with hostility. Nay, it is a tumble, not a movement; a paralysis not an uprising.

Let the intelligent take heed and let the unmindful wake up. May the ignorant be wary of the fact that whoever has no regard for the Sahabah of Rasulullah salla Llahu ‘alayhi wa sallam has absolutely no regard for Rasulullah salla Llahu ‘alayhi wa sallam himself. And whoever has no regard for the Nabi salla Llahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, then Allah forbid, he has no regard for the Mighty and Majestic subhanahu wa ta ‘ala. Whoever’s condition this is, is undoubtedly wretched and unfortunate. We beg Allah’s protection from becoming like them.

And our last call is: All praise belongs to Allah, Rabb of the universes.
